The Old Town Christmas market

Warsaw's second Christmas market in 2025 stood by the Barbican. It ran from 22 November to 6 January along the space between the city walls, from Sigismund's Column to Wąski Dunaj street. It was open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 20:00 and on Friday and Saturday until 21:30, with blacksmith shows and carols, and there was an ice rink on the Old Town Market Square. We have not yet found its dates for 2026 in any source.

Eating out after the market

If you are going for dinner in the city centre afterwards, check the bill. Some restaurants in Warsaw add a service charge of 10 to 15 percent, and in Poland it should be announced before you order. We collect these restaurants on a map of restaurants with service charges, based on receipts sent in by guests.

Going to Krakow as well? The Krakow Christmas Market on the Main Square opens a week later, on 27 November.
